Q: What is the difference between a foundation governor and a foundation director?

A foundation governor is linked to one school and its governing body. If the school is an academy they will be a foundation governor on a local governing body. A foundation director is part of the board of directors for an academy trust, and as such will have responsibilities towards all the schools in the academy trust.
